This Cookie Policy explains how this website (the “Site”), operated by Vittorio Simoni (“we”, “us”, “our”), uses cookies and similar technologies. It is provided for informational purposes and to comply with applicable laws, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Directive 2002/58/EC (the ePrivacy Directive), and the Italian Personal Data Protection Code (D.Lgs. 196/2003 as amended by D.Lgs. 101/2018).

This Site does not use cookies for tracking, analytics, profiling, or advertising purposes. No third-party cookies are set. No analytics or advertising scripts are loaded.

The Site uses a single technical local storage entry, strictly necessary to remember that you have dismissed the cookie notice:

  • Storage location: Your browser only.
  • Retention: Persistent until you clear your browser data.

4. Contact form

If you submit the contact form, the personal data you provide (name, email address, subject, message) is transmitted to a self-hosted application (Directus) under our control. This data is processed solely to respond to your inquiry, on the legal basis of legitimate interest in answering correspondence directed to us (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The data is retained only for as long as necessary to handle your request and any reasonable follow-up, and is not shared with third parties.

5. Server logs

Standard server logs (IP address, user-agent, request timestamp, requested URL) may be processed by hosting providers for security, abuse prevention, and operational diagnostics, on the legal basis of legitimate interest in maintaining the security and integrity of the Site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Retention is limited to what is necessary for these purposes and these logs are not used for tracking or profiling.

6. Your rights

Where applicable under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal data;
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Request erasure of your data (“right to be forgotten”);
  • Object to or restrict processing;
  • Request data portability;
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acknowledgement of the updated policy.
